The Vigiles Amicae hereby declares the personas known as Sliuchu, Cleole, and Tirranne to be anathema. The wards are locked against them, and no move shall be made to stay the hand that is raised against them.

It is with sorrow that we report that this person was unable to abide by our Writ, and repeatedly expressed contempt for the substance and practice of the same. Every reasonable effort was made to educate Sliuchu regarding the nature of the Amicae, and the meaning of the Writ and Rules that guide us.

For fifteen days they were among us, but no more. The charges are as follows:

• pressuring players for rp after they made clear they were busy
• refusal to accept alternate times for rp or hunting
• pressuring an officer of the council to move the guild resources without conference
• seeking preferential treatment for a contribution of in-game money and status
• seeking preferential treatment for creating enjin site unasked, and without approval
• disrespect for players of silver membership
• hostility to players of limited financial means
• hostility toward an officer for their commitment to duty
• hostility toward players who asked for empathy
• repeated rejection of offered rp hooks and venues
• disrespect for players' request for response to ongoing public story
• refusal to abide the rp rules after claiming to have read and understood them
• disrespect for the concept of the guild
• disrespect for the Real Life obligations of members, officers, and other guilds
• repeated rejection of players' right to ask that a subject be avoided or minimized in public channel, for any reason

It is with sorrow that we report that Duriion was unable to abide by our Writ, in or out of character, and repeatedly expressed contempt for the substance and practice of the same. Every reasonable effort was made to educate Duriion regarding the nature of the Amicae, and the meaning of the Writ and Rules that guide us.

Although Duriion sought entry to the Amicae, none was granted. The charges are as follows:

• disrespect of the players
• harassment of an officer
• proselytizing
• disrespect of the stories
• refusing responsibility for one's own RP
• putting RP and the Game ahead of Real Life
• refusal to make use of any offered rp hook or write an alternate version
• refusal to accept offered timeslots for rp or ooc conversation
• lying to an officer
• asserting the Cartesian evil demon concept as a counter to ethical behavior

Campaign: Treasonous Stars - Incident Report

The Vigiles Amicae hereby declares the persona(s) known as:

Valacor Arios Valinos

among other possible aliases, to be anathema.

The wards are locked against him, and no move shall be made to stay the hand that is raised against him.

It is with sorrow and rage that we report the former Commander Valinos was unable to abide by our Writ, and repeatedly expressed contempt for the substance and practice of the same. Every reasonable effort was made to educate Valinos regarding the nature of the Amicae, and the meaning of the Writ and Rules that guide us.

That the former Commander Valinos has been employed in the gathering of intelligence and monitoring of evils which would threaten the Amicae is insufficient case for the profligate violations of our writ which have accumulated to his name. Further, he has fled from the right and proper charge of treason, and refused to stand at Courts Martial for the following charges:

• taking and keeping a sentient person in bondage without due process of law
• keeping of personal slaves in true bondage, against their will
• feeding on the heartsblood of allied sentient persons against their will
• threatening a faithful healer among the Amicae
• striking an officer of the Amicae with intent to cause grievous harm
• imposing his will against an officer of the Amicae outside of the direction of a healer
• sabotage and vandalism of Amicae holdings
• refusal to make proper use of Vlosillye stock to maintain his health as an officer of the Vigiles
• abuse of his power over the soldiers in his charge

We therefore on this Sixth day of Scorchedsky in the Year of Rathe in the Era of the New Combine, declare Valacor Arios Valinos a traitor to the Amicae and to the Praetor to which he owed his loyalty. So long as he refuse to answer to Courts Martial, he is both Exile and Fugitive, and any hand may be raised against him.

Council Summons

~ The dispatch is on crisp, heavy linen paper. It is handwritten in the angular letters of the common trade language, and sealed with red wax. The seal has the sign of three swords over flame. ~

The Praetor and Protector of the Amicae
To the people of the Amicae and the Vigiles among them:

Amicae: In the name of your ancestors and the dead generations of soldiers from which you receive your steadfastness, your writ and traditions, your Praetor summons you to the standard of the Vigiles, the ever-watchful. The drum of war is sounded, and the anvil of liberty rings forth.

Having organized and trained the Vigiles in secret and in the open, to guard all Amicae; having perfected discipline and silence; having awaited resolutely the day our liberties could be shown to the world; now the pattern of time has unfolded an opportunity for glory. Supported by the souls of those who laid down in blood, and those who have chosen to return to the bondage of tyrants for the good of coming generations, but relying first on the strength within our own ranks: in the sacred mystery by which one and one and one together carry more than each alone ever could, we strike in full confidence of victory.

We declare now to the world the right of the Amicae to the unfettered pursuit of their destinies, without regard to the petty circumstances of birth or the avarice of gods and mortals. The abysmal usurpation of that right by any creature makes them our enemy, now and hereafter. In every generation there are those who forget the consequence of attempting such invasion: we must never let them forget that the final victory shall ever be ours.

Let this hereby stand as a declaration of resolve, and a summons to the council of war: the shield and spear of the Amicae be raised! Until by our wisdom and our valor we have reclaimed our Lost, the rule of all Amicae shall be held by the Vigiles arm, under the direction of the Praetor, and held in trust for the people until peace return.

May the woven fate guard us, and may no thread fray in cowardice, selfishness, or sadism. In this path, the Vigiles Amicae must by the nine virtues prove again that we have the right and the worth to claim the destiny to which we are called.

Incident Report: Arrest of Sagona Benezia

It is recorded that the Vigiles Amicae made an arrest in the name of the Gorowyn Militia on in the month of Scorchedsky((6.15)). The offender was turned over to the authority of the Militia for judgement.
Here follows a summery and transcript of the event.

A shout of distress in a male voice summoned the local guard near mid-day. Equites Amrunrosse and the Praetor were engaged in business with the city liaison at the time, and conferred with them regarding the proximity of the duty officer. Commotion was reported from the tavern on the second concourse, and only third-year sentries were posted at the moment.
The Vigiles left word with the liaison to send a courier to the local command, and responded to the distress call in his place.

Equites Amrunrosse arrived on the scene first: A hooded female in cheap street clothes, armed with a potmetal dagger was restraining a freeblood male in heavy though poor-quality plat armor. Under threat of force, they were separated and made to kneel with hands behind their heads. The female was disarmed without requiring the use of force. The male was unarmed. Both were made to kneel with hands behind their heads for questioning.

The human female gave her name as Sagona Benezia and was in possession of less than one gold in small coins and a cheap pressed-glass talisman in addition to the dagger. She claimed the Freeblood stalked and threatened her, and her actions were cast as self-defense. At the Equites' expression of doubt she attempted to speak into a talisman: it was confiscated, and she proceeded to deny any knowledge of its usefulness, ownership, or origin. She frequently interrupted the questioning of the male, to assert his guilt and deny her own.

The Freeblood gave his name as Locanius of Neriak, and cited his Change as not two days past. He carried a quantity of gold coin, and a two-week supply of Vlosllye-type bloodwine, with attendant permits. He admitted to observing the female secretly before approaching her, but claimed that when he approached in civility she attacked him with the stated intent to relieve him of his purse. He claims he then retreated, and called for assistance.

It is the judgement of the ranking officer present that the testimony of Locanius was plausible and that of Benezia wholly flawed, and her actions in violation of local law. Order was given for her to be bound and delivered to the militia headquarters.

Benezia resisted arrest, making vague threats and attempting escape. She was unsuccessful: she was bound and delivered to the care of Primary Kalmaraa Di'Zin.

Locanius was released, with strict orders to report to the Primary and give his statement directly to them within 24 hours.
